2Kool4Skool - Back to School Giveaway Hop

I don't know about you, but it seems like summer just started yesterday, yet we are almost back to school. If you have a child who is afraid to start school, you can get permission a week of so before school starts to walk through the school. Go to the classrooms, find the bathroom, the library, gym, cafeteria, etc. It really helps calm nerves.

Debbie-thanks for that excellent suggestion! My middle child has autism and last year was difficult for him with the transition to middle school.

He was so anxious the day before the back to school night that we called and they not only let us tour school, the gave him his schedule that day so we could take our time & walk from room to room in a mostly empty building. It took his anxiety down to nothing.

Thanks for your terrific tip!!!

I remember when I was in 3rd grade we had a "Jump Rope For Heart" event. I jumped rope so much that I felt like my arms were going to fall off! But we raised alot of money for the America Heart Association :)

My tip is to get backpack, what to wear, shower, and make lunches the night before. This saves a lot of time. That way no one is rushing around and you can all have a nice breakfast together.Thank you :)
