The boys participated in the Fun Fair for piano. They had to learn scales, chords, cadences, arpeggios, music theory, a performance piece and do sight-reading and ear-training. It's a lot for these kids to do and we are so proud of them for trying. They have about two and a half hours to get to all their rooms and events. No parents allowed so they have to figure out how to time manage and get everything done.
Both boys did terrific! We are so proud.
Nathan got a trophy.
The fair celebrated the music of John Williams who wrote the Star Wars score. So Darth Vader made an appearance on stage for a photo op.
Andrew won a Ribbon award.
They did so well and we are just proud, proud, proud parents!
