CoverMate Food Cover Review and Giveaway

CoverMate, Inc. recently provided me with a variety pack of CoverMate Food Covers so I could review them. I received the variety pack, which includes 4 medium 4 large and 2 extra large. My pack also had a free bonus can cover. They look like shower caps at first glance, but when you take a closer look at the construction, you’ll realize these are much more usable and durable than a shower cap.

I knew I’d like the CoverMate Food Covers for things like potluck or when taking appetizers to a girl’s night out. I didn’t think I would have much use for them beyond taking food out of the house. I was pleasantly surprised to find myself able to use these covers for so much more. I tried using them in place of plastic wrap on a French silk pie. It did a nice job of keeping the pie fresh in my refrigerator. I tested this pie because I knew the CoverMate would end up getting whipped cream on it and would need washing. I tried a tip I found and it worked perfectly.

To wash your CoverMate in a dishwasher:
1. Turn your CoverMate Food Cover inside out
2. Put on the back of a clean plate
3. Place in dishwasher to clean and dry!

Wow! It came out looking just like new. The other use that I tried was reheating with the CoverMate on instead of using a splatter cover. It worked really well because of the corner vent. I like the ability to reuse these instead of throwing away after a single use like plastic wrap or aluminum foil. With cleanup being so easy, it makes a lot of sense to use these for your food storage and reheating needs.

Here’s a video about the CoverMate Food Covers.

The CoverMates work on any shaped dish. Round or square or oblong, the flexband will accommodate any shape and there are built in corners to help when placing on a square or rectangular shaped dish.

Right now, you can get a sample pack of CoverMate Food Covers for FREE. Just pay $3.95 shipping & handling and you can try these for yourself. With the sample pack, you will receive a $1.00 off coupon for your next purchase.
